I was wondering what kind of experience people had shopping with Discount Tire Direct? I was going to get a set of used wheels from someone but that deal fell through, so I think I'm going to be getting a set from Discount Tire Direct. I heard complaints from some people that when they ordered wheel packages from other companies that were supposed to be balanced, sometimes they didn't come in balanced etc. So I would like to get an idea from people who have shopped at Discount Tire Direct before about how it went. Thanks for any info you could give.

i ordered only wheels from them, but i had no problem at all. the shipping was free and they came in 4 days.
Shop in the store, I bought my wheels from them, I already had tires, even though I didnt buy the tires from them they slapped a warranty on them anyway, plus they gave me free install, I had to pay shipping, which was about $10 less than install, the people at my local store are awsome, I have sent 3 people up there too and all of them have had excellent experiances as well.
Thanks for the info, guys. Unfortunately, I don't believe they have any stores in pennsylvania, but with the free shipping deal, it's no biggie.

I have bought from both an actual Discount Tire store (set of 17" wheels and tires for my Cavy) and their online store (one replacement tire for my GTO). Both were good experiences.

I've ordered only tires before but I've gotten two sets from TIreRack.com and have had no issues.

I just got bought some 17's and tires from them (arrived at my door today, ordered last Sunday). No issues, but it was kinda strange, they shipped one wheel/tire from their Ohio warehouse with the lugs and rings (got here first) and the other three came from Arizona. I'd say go for it.
Ordered tires for our 2k2 LS Sport from there a month or so ago when they were doing the $100/off purchase of 4. Arrived in 2 days, awesome deal, couldn't have been beaten.
GO ON EBAY!!!! they have an outlet on there, they have 15-25 on average lower per wheel. I want some DR-17's sometime this spring, and they have wheels for 85, when they were normally 105. There were a lot of good deals! (BTW free shipping)
