probably a stupid question

don't know much about our cars yet...learning a little here and there from you guys. anywho, my question is, i'm planning to drop 1.5" maybe 2". if i drop my car now with the stock 14's on, later when i get 17's or 18's (not sure yet) will my car stay the same as far as the postion of the drop with the bigger rim? or will i have to drop it more to get the initial drop height i wanted.

or should i save up and get the rims first, and then drop?

thanks.

Don't forget tire size. If your TIRE is the same diameter as your tire you have now, your rim size won't matter.

alright. well, looking at the FAQ, i think i'm gonna go with a 215/40/18. mainly cause of the small difference in speed reading.

get the rims first that way if the tire hits the fender weld you can get a lower profile

always drop then rims. if you get the correct offset and tire size then you dont have to worry about anythin' hitting
