I was thinking about having the rear wells of my 03 Sunfire cut out and tubbing them so I can fit really wide tires in there. I was wondering if there was anyone on here that has ever done this? I want to make sure though that the tires won't protrude past the edge of the fender, because I want them to stick out further than the width of the car. I want bigger, wider tires, but I to keep them tucked in under the car. I'd be losing a lot of trunk space, but I think it would look pretty cool with a dragster look to it. If I do this what would be the widest I could go with the wheel wells in the rear without having the tires protrude from the fenders and without totaling screwing up my handling?
