i can get some 20 front wheel drive wheels with a 5x100 bolt pattern for cheap will they fit without rubbing?
no they will not... you hafta roll the fenders to make them fit, at least. imo 20s do not look right nor belong on a cavalier/sunfire. besides that, you would have very little rubber to ride on so if its a daily driver, the ride quality would be horrible.
Check out my build thread!
yes they will fit. they now make 225/30/20 tires. but make sure they are 7 inches wide. if not you wont be able to turn without rubbing and with out hitting your fender
LOL, why dont you get an old cadilac so you can put big rims on
I need a new sig =(

wrong. with the correct offset and width yes they will fit. donna is running 20's on here cav and it looks really good. all the had to do was roll the front fenders a little.
Ok, I really don't get this debate at all...
Everyone is running 19's with 215 or 225 rubber. And the compliments are good. Ahh nice rims, and all that. However, as soon as someone wants to go with a 20, which is only one size up anyways, everyone bitches. Yet the 225 30 20 tires actually sit only .1 of an inch, which is about the thickness of a couple sheets of paper higher then the 225 35 19's. Which make the 20's a decent fit technically. And only 1.74% higher then the stock Z24 tire diameter. Which according to the tire industry is a perfectly safe upsize. And if someone is running on 215 35 19's they only have a .3 of an inch difference from a 20. So with the right offset, and the right width, a 20 inch wheel can be achieved hardly any problems at all. And there is a few ppl doing 20's. I was at Darknights ths past week or so ago, and seen a green cavy with 20's. I personally liked the look of them, he had a full kit and some other stuff, and the car was on stock suspension, but because of the 20's it looked lowered because there was almost no wheel gap. But the tires would make for a @!#$ty ride. However on stock suspension, it might make up for a little difference. I would be almost willing to bet, that stock suspension on 20's, rides just about the same as a car with 18's or 19's on coilovers...
So quit bitching.. let ppl do what ppl want to do. Its really not that big of a difference..
Although with the bigger rims, comes heavier rims, upgrade your brakes accordingly.

thats what i was saying... they will not fit by just putting them on without rolling the fenders

not not all of them have to roll the fenders. she rolled them to lower the car. plus rolling the fenders is something you can do in your driveway in about 10 mins. its not like you need a shop to do it
yes donna did roll her fenders but she is using a 225/35/20 tire and she is lowered. either way they look good. and will look even better when she gets a body kit
i dont wanna sound stupid but what is "rolling the fender" or whatever?
FOR SALE: (5) '95-'99 Z24 Rims
if you look on the inside of your fenders, you will see a little lip that goes in. basically rolling the fenders in rolling that lip flush up w/ the fender. also if you keep going it will push the fenders out a little more for clearence
didnt some one post a pic of a cavy on 20's
Sinister Ambitions
when your girl is getting on your last nerve f*#k her dont fight her
show me pix with DUBS.. lol
search, donna has a yellow cav w/ black 20's and there is a red cav w/ chrome 20's
Ive seen them fit!! But the guy was on air bags! 20's looks good as hell on a cavy. Actually it's a guy around my house riding around on 20's on a cavalier.. U gotta get like a 225/30/20 inch tires... it's a company that makes the tires for our cars. go to superbuytires.com and they should help u out...
he asked if they would fit, not your personal opinion on whther or not it would look good to you.
Most people that b1tch are Haters, or can't afford to do things that others are doing. And those same people are the ones who "CLAIM" that they are happy with 14-16inch wheels on there J-Body, when we all know they come stock with that size. I'm not hatin on the guys with tiny wheels, but they shouldn't hate on us either.
Brett has them on his car...not sure what he had to do to get them on but here they are!
