Ok frankly I'm super tired of my rims, over the last year about 12 J's on the site have popped up with them so I figure that's a good sign to change it up. I found these FUREAKIN SICK rim+tire combo on a miata and I want it. I know I'll have to grab H&r spacers obviously (you'll see haha) and I'll more than likely get some pretty wide flares thrown on to match. Nothing stupid ricer big but about 3-4in inside the tire so in essence 3-4in of tire will still stick out (Yea I know you're thinking)

Well for one, here's my rims so everyone knows

Exel P5's (Gunmetal 17s) a.k.a Tenzo Passion 5 knockies

(car was lowered on heated Goldlines and stock struts for shizz and giggles back in the day)

and here's the rims I so desperately want (Yea the Fatter ones ). I've seen them before but I never wanted them so badly until now (since it seems like everyone has my oldies)

So who knows these rims, and I know this would be kind of hard to consider without knowing exact specs and all, BUT what will need to be done to get these suckers under? So far I've gotten from a very very well known track racer that lives next door (YEAAAAAA [lil jon vioce]) that i'll deffinately need the H&r spacers or equivelent quality spacers that fit my bolt patter on the inside and whatever the wheels pattern on the outside. And basically that's all he could give me. Also I'm tired of the blingy rim look (even though I have a kit) but could you see these rims on a stock bodied J? Hells NO....And NO one and I mean NO one on here has anything like these rims. SO yea, there we go!

Those look like old school watanabe's a very rare japanese rim. You'd be hard pressed to find a set for cheap or even at all. I think rota makes a similar styles (ie knockoff) of those called the gt3 might try looking in to those, but i dunno if they sell them in any size but 16. Good luck in the search

I know about the Rota's. I see a-lot of honda's rolling around with the red ones on a huge array of different color cars?

My question is on either rim, would I be able to get them made with a lip that big? I don't know if that's considered Offet or what? but the two rim choices posted are like flat rims and the Gt3's barely indent into the wheel. Are there any knock offs that may pertrude such as the ones picutred? If anyone could suggest some classic wheel auction sites or such web addresses that would help trmendouly. I was looking to get the same exact look as that miata I origianlly pictured. Fatty tires and all. Then I could actually put Road Atlanta to some use (Of course with some good suspension upgrades to boot)

Best bet would be to surf some miate/honda/ae86/uber jdm yo sites and try to find a set for sale. Other than that i dunno
