well i need some new tires can get 4 new nexen's 225/40/18 for about 300 trying to sell the car anyway ive heard alot of crap about nankang or w/e just hoping these were a little better does anyone actually HAVE them? and how do u like them so far??
If you are looking for an inexpensive tire that performs well, I recommend the Essenza (Goodyear brand). I have 225/40/18 on my cavalier and highly recommend them. Relatively the same price as the Nexen or Nankang. Many tire dealers I went to commented that the Nexen and Nankang are actually re-treads (similar to truck tires). This is why people are have issues with tread separation.
Go to ebay and you will find the Essenza's for a really good price.
