Another offset question...
Tuesday, January 10, 2006 9:59 PM
im plannin on buyin a set off 17"x7.5" wheels this spring and they only come with a 48mm offset. i wanna run them with 215 45 tires. anyways, wondering if anybody knows if this offset if gonna pull the wheels in too far and cause all kinds of rubbing madness or if they just won't fit at all?

you might have some rubbing on the inside somewhere

48 sucks the wheels in alot , so just double check them once installed

my 38mm offset , on a 17x7 with 225/45's rub at full steering lock under hard turning

yea its definately gonna be a close one, especially because im running the eibach springs. probably wont be sure until i actually put them on the car.

anyone else have any idea if they'll fit without rubbing?

baggedcav98 i wasn't ignoring you, i'm just tryin to get as much feedback as i could. wheels are a fairly big investment and i just wanted to be sure about them fitting before i spend money on them. thanks for the input and i'll take your word for it, and thanks for the link to the faq in you last post.
