I just changed my P195/70R14 stock tires and steelies to a brand new set of General Exclaim UHP P215/45ZR17s with some black rims with a polished lip. Do they ever make my car handle soo much better than before. It's a night and day difference. I understand with low profile tires and rims like that you get a lot more "road feel". My question is whether, it is normal to feel normal road vibrations in the steering wheel with these new wheels. I'm assuming that is what road feel is like. Almost the feel like when your on rollerblades and you can feel the road, how it is. Im pretty sure they are in pretty good balance because they did that at the shop and its nothing like major vibrations, just kind of a feel for the road, which im starting to get use to.

it wouldn't hurt to get then checked and balanced just be safe or check your brakes if had some unanticipated horror stories
