Air ride with these wheels?

This question is mostly for all of you with the easy street kit. WIll the offset of these wheels allow them to tuck up into the fenders with a tire size of 205/55/r16? They are the gm 16's that come on some ls sport cavs and some z24s.

Basically yes... those are super sunk.

I have them on, but I dont have air ride yet. Thats why I was asking...so I wont have to get new wheels to be able to tuck the tire, and maybe some of the wheel if possible.

Im not going to leave them on forever though. I'm planning on 18's sometime next year but air ride will come first. I guess no one can answer my original question.

Well I guess I'll re-phrase the question. Will the offset on these wheels cause the fenders to make contact with the tire or will they go behind the fenders once laid out? I believe the offset is 42mm....Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

theres your answer

its easy to tell too you even have the rims on. go out look at your tires and look straight up from the edge of your tire and see if it will hit the fender. if it barely hits, then just roll the fender. you have the wheels already, i dont see whats so hard about it.

actually i think the factory offset is around 48, if i'm wrong please correct me...i have the ls sport chrome wheels with the easy street kit and i don't see any rubbing when i drop it, they are close but do tuck, if you are concerned about it just roll the fender lip

i had a set on over the winter when i was installing my air, and they worked fine....but if u can afford air, why not afford rims?

Because I'm not focusing on rims right now. Im still saving money to get the air. Once I get the air I'll worry about wheels and stuff.

I get slack from people about my cavalier, though not bagged, I have Eibach Springs and 16" silver LS sport wheels, it looks good but hopefully I'll get my 18's next spring. so I guess in a way you and I are the same. I lowered my car before rims, basically because if I didn't just go out and lower it, I may have never done it. so that's my take on this topic.

And I look at it like this. I want air ride but I dont have it...yet. I want new wheels, but I have wheels on my car that are perfectly fine. I will get wheels soon after air Im just focusing on that right now.
