im looking at that rim...do i need 5x100+35 or 45 mm?....

i also saw that someone bought a rim that looked like this (i think it was rota) and had to have it machined to fit...anyone know anything about that?

they have a +48, and a +35

+48 should be okay, unless you're planning on running a big brake package, such as the Wilwoods. I'd then suggest the +35

that's the offset, or how the rim sits in relation to the center hub on the rim. the higher the number, the farther in the rim sits. the lower, the more out the rim sits.
so, if you have a big brake package like the Wilwoods, the +48mm might not let the spokes on the rim clear the brake calipers. the +35mm certainly should.

Ask the retailer what the hub bore is on the wheels. J-bodies have a 57.1 mm hub bore. Usually higher offset wheels (48mm+) are made for subarus, which have a 56.1mm hub bore, thus the machining requirement.

get the 5x100 with the 48mm offset. youll be fine. also your going to need hub rings anyway. hub rings are going to take the weight off the studs and center the weight on the hub. the bore size for these wheels are 73.0mm and as said above our hub size is 57.1mm. you can get these from discount tire, just call and ask for them. say you need hub rings with an outter diameter of 73.0mm and an inner diameter of 57.1mm. should cost about 15 bucks for them. your going to need new lugs too. i suggest mcgard spline drive kit. best lugs i ever owned. lug size you need is 12mm x 1.5mm

I like them. Works well with a 225/45/17 tire.

Since our wheels stick out in the front and are sunk in in the rear, i'd go for +45 in the front and +35 in the rear.

I wish my wheels would have come with multiple offsets in 5X100...
