i have a 2000 sunfire with the 5 lug pattern and i was wondering if i could swap the hubs with the colbalts 4 lug pattern hubs
does anybody know if this swap is possible?
Well anything is possible with the right about of money. You are taking two different cars that are different platforms all together. Nothing will bolt up period.
Why would anyone in their right mind want to switch from a 5 lug to a 4 lug?

why does everyone think that cobalt and jbody parts are interchangable?

thats what people said about the NWF body swap... you are right though, it will cost some good coin.
try and find a hub adapter, it would be cheaper.

You can't go from 4 lug to 5 lug... One of the lugs over lap each other. There really is no reason or way to do this without costing a ton of money. It would be cheaper in the long run to order so bad @ss rims plan and simple. Might even be able to toss a brake kit on there depending on how much someone would charge.

we have a cobalt SS non super charged at work thats just destroyed in the front end, its so bad that the a pillars are kinked. ive been eyeing it for awhile now, i might just try to pick it up, ive been thinking about this for a while. an irreparable cobalt with that much damage won't be worth more the $1000.
if i do get the car ill post my progress here.

Still is not gong to work, and those wheels are so damn heavy you couldn't pay me to put them on. Just know unless you want to pay for that much work you can do better with a IRS and Nwf body front upgrade
