Does anyone know any companies that make a knockoff motegi tracklite or something very similar? Call me cheap, but I just can see spending that much money on such a simple design wheel no matter how nice/light they are. I honestly dont care about them being as lightweight or whatever, I love the look.
I think your cheap just for looking at the tracklites, I'm going to be paying over $650 each for the rims that I'm geting, and I probably make less money than you.

Well I doubt I make more money than you thats for sure haha. And Im sorry you feel the need to spend that much money on wheels lol, I have turbo needs to attend to
I thought there was something similar I saw in some euro tuner magazine but cant remember what cheap company it was lol. What does everyone think about the traklite style in flat black on an indigo 00-02 coupe? I think they would look damn good, and Ill be going 16" since I just got new falken ziex's and plus their not much of a "show" style wheel so im not worried about going bigger than stock.

I deliver pizza, nough said. Tracklites, if my memory serves me right are only around $200 each, which ain't bad for a lightweight rim.

a cheap traklite isn't a traklite. the reason they cost so much is because they're forged, not the usual cast garbage that everybody buys
forged= more strength and less weight
they're just a 5 spoke wheel...
there's millions of 5 spoke wheels in black/ flat black/ gunmetal available....

You realy don't need a lightweight forged wheel unless you plan to spend time on your local track apex curbing all day. Which styleTraklite do you want, the 5-spoke TL 1.0 or 6 spoke TL 2.0?

Isnt it past your time to leave?
I know the traklites are much better quality and forged , which is why they are much more expensive. As I said I love the look, but Id rather not spend soo much as Im not in need of a 12lb wheel or whatever they are. I do love the look, which I honestly havnt found any that are exactly similar in looks.
I love the 5 spoke design traklite, in flat or even gloss black. If anyone could find me a knockoff brand that look exactly similar Id realy appreciate it.
I found these, google does wonders haha. $120 and 16lbs each in 16". What do you guys think on an indigo coupe? Their Flik ftd's
There are many 5-spoke wheels similar to the TL 5-spoke. SI will see what we have and get back to you.
Jim
thos wheels dont look too bad, kinda of similar to the tracklites... honestly its ur car get whatever wheels u want man...

I like cookies, and here are the $650 rims
They're the Yokahama Super Advan Racing Version 2, I'm getting them in 17X9 and they will weigh less then the tracklites. Before anyone else decides to flame me on the size, my car will be a track only car, and will be trailered to Time Attack events. Of course, I need a better job first and foremost.

im sorry, but wow, those are @!#$ hideous and they cant weigh but maybe a lb or 2 less than the traklite. gonna put advan wheels like what they put on drifting and D1 240's and skylines, which they actually look decent on, on a sunfire. and also 9" wide, wow, your gonna have some wheel sticking out of your fenders. thats gonna look really good. what an absolute waste of 650 a rim and i can bet you wont pay anything close to that as you work at dominos and it would take you a whole year of saving all your money to even get a set of these wheels without tires. i bet youll get the knockoffs of them.
as for the traklites, they are nowhere near $200 a piece. last time i checked, a set of 4 retailed for around $1,800 without tires, so if my math is close, thats about $450 a wheel.
im done being a dick now. just think before you speak Evil J.
Yea those look good on nissans and other high powered imports, but on a sunfire? This thread realy didnt ask how much you make or what your job is, or what kind of wheels you want did it? And calling me cheap for looking at the real traklites, is calling many others on the site cheap; people that have some of the nicest and most well built cars on the org imo.
Thanks for the help guys, even though I guess I shoulda googled it in the first place lol. Im gona try and pick up those flik ftd's and do my suspension when I get my tax money. Until then Ive gotta finalize my turbo setup and starting building a motor so its gona be a busy next few months
check out edgeracing.com they have those wheels on there plus some other nice looking wheels that are cheap
