Ok I found a very good deal on these wheels in 17"s, I am most likely going to get them just wanted to see some other opinions versus my current 18"s.







I think they will look way better!!!

Also I am not sure of the shape of the paint, and I am thinking about painting them, either black, gunmetal, or bronze.

They would look great in gunmetal!!! I didnt know about them when I saw the first pic, but the chop looks great! But Im also not a fan of wheels with alot of spokes.

I say do them in gunmetal, should look great with the silver/cf/headlights and corners

Yep, gotta love Craigs list, there from some guy that bought them for his wifes minivan and she didn't like them she wanted stock wheels so now hes selling them, they are almost brand new!

Funny, I'm usually not a fan of rims like what you have, but I like them much better than the new ones, and since you painted the center of the spokes black, I've really liked them on your car. They fit the look better than the split fives IMO.

Well, I went and picked them up today and they are in great shape! There is a little bit of curbage on one of them but barely noticable. They are also incredibly light, 14lbs, with out tires. I am not sure how much my 18s weigh but its more than that.

Whats an average weight for a 17? Is that pretty light? Whats a stock wheel weigh?

I can't wait to get tires for them and for nice weather!

I am still undecided on color though, I kind of want to see what they look like silver on the car, but if I am gonna paint them I would like to do it before I put tires on them.

Decisions, decisions...

don't do the silver on silver. yuck city.


with the hood and everything else being black. u can't go wrong with black!

14lbs?!?!? You gotta be effing kidding me!

I wish I could find some 14lb wheels for $125 bucks, I've been looking for used ones for my Ion, but wheels like that are like 10 times more expensive, you can't find 14lb 17's for $125 EACH let alone $125 total.

What kind are they? I want to see specs on them, hell I'll find a set and paint them gold!

They are Kazera KZR's, they are on tirerack. All of there wheels are just knock-offs of Enkei, they are a branch of ASA. New they are $500 to $600 for all four. On the back of the rim it is stamped and sadi14LBS but I put one on the scale and its closer to 20 pounds. But they are still really light, and best of all $125!n They even came with new lugnuts! I am super excited to get some tires on them and mount them up!

I thought they were Kazera wheels, and had a feeling they weren't 14lbs being Kazera. www.wheelweights.net says they are 18.6 lbs, I'd rather have something lighter in weight, but for the price they aren't bad.

What do you mean by "accents"?

The parts of the rim in between the spokes. Recessed areas.

Typicly called accents because wheels with a machine finish usually have that part painted. If you painted that black, the spokes themselves would really stand out.
It might look pretty cool. I'm on my way out right now, but maybe I'll do a chop later for ya.

That sounds like a lot of taping.

I just got doing a test, I did one wheel in Duplicolor Wheel coating "Bronze" and one in "Graphite".

When I do paint them I have access to a media blaster so I was going to blast them anyway, so I thought instead of trying to picture how they would look I can just test it and then blast them and repaint them properly.

I will post pics when they dry!
