Just got a quick question. I have a 03 sunfire in the arrival blue color ( i think thats what it's called). I just got a set of rims im painting and i wanted to do a black wheel with a blue lip. My question is, what color blue should i use for the lip? Should i use a color close to my car color or should a use a brighter blue? I want the blue to be noticable but im not sure how the arrival blue would stand out against the black. Any input or suggestions would be awesome.
Thanks
use the stock color. it'll look funky w/ a different color. imho!

That's what i was thinking but i wasn't sure how the blue would contrast against the black. Do you think the black with the blue lip would look good?

Im torn between doing a silver lip or the blue lip. I can't decide which one would look best. What do you think.......Silver or blue? I want something thats gonna stand out.
standing out is about being different! outside of the box!
blue all the way, and never look back!

here's a set of black rims with the ?duplicolor? metallic flake blue paint for the lip. Maybe photo shop it and see if you like. I'd say though paint the lip the same color as your car.

SO EVERYTHING!
Yeah i have decide to do them blue i think it will look sweet. The duplicolor metallic flake blue paint used on the rims above, is it the wheel paint or just regular paint?
One more question, duplicolor doesn't sell the wheel paint in gloss black. They only have satin black is there another type of paint i can use? I don't really want satin black. Not sure if the clear coat will make it glossy or not.
Clear coat over satin will make a gloss color.
Thanks for all the help. When i get them done ill try to post up some pics.
they do make a flat clear...
