i have a set of 16x7 rims with 42 offset on 225/50/16 tires, and i'm looking at 18x7.5 with 40 offset on 225/40/18 wheels. I'm gonna put the 16s on my setup now to see how they fit. where and how much would the 18s differ from the 16s. wouldn't they be a little taller and stick out toward the fender an extra .25 inch and 2mm?
