Harness Install
Monday, May 09, 2005 11:35 PM
well I'm stuck at the moment with trying to figure out how to install the things and where to put the bolts.

anyone care to clear this up for me or even give me any advice?

maybe I should just stick with stock.

I tried doing a search for harnesses but came up short of just some random posts. Hope I can get some sort of light description.

sorry about the earlier post. I left several things unstated that maybe I should have said. Girlfriend called.

anyways. it's just a generic 4 point harness. that I just feel the need to install instead of letting waste away in my closet among other things.

how should I start? where do I start? should I get help? mental or professional? any help would be appreciated.

the way i did it uses all the stock bolt locations. the two shoulder straps go through the seat and bolt through the seat cushion of the back seat, to the back seat belt bolt locations. for the two lap belts, they are bolted right where the stock belt bolts were, hope this helps.

it does actually. but I'm wondering if I have to sacrifice my seatbelts in the back seats.

I'll probably have to drill new locations to keep the seatbelts in the back wont I?
