hey guys and gals, my new neighbor has a 96 sunfire and her sunroof doesnt work, but she has no idea why or how it got broken in the first place

i am asking for help simpy because i know tons about js but mine does not has a sunroof so i know nothing, what are some common problems with these sunroofs?
anything will help, and ill probably look at it tommorrow'

Maybe it is stuck from not being used for a while. Try to hit the open switch while gently pushing up on the window. Infact push up on all 4 corners before you hit the switch.

Check the fuse. If that is not the problem there should be some wires going into the switch at the top of the headliner for the sunroof. Check that to see if it is getting power and is properly grounded. If that is still not the case then I would suggest getting a new motor.
