Is one tach not enough for you?

whats up with you guys... always flaming someone. I don't have an aftermarket tach myself, but some people think they look cool. yeah, youre gonna need a tach adapter... theres no tach signal wire that goes to our clusters... its all "Class II data".

I must be reading my post wrong. I don't see that I flamed anyone. All I wanted to know is if one tach was enough for him or not. Once he answers that I will try to answer his question.

I heard that the stock tach was extremely
inaccurate especially with quick rpm changes
so i understand why he may want to look
into another tach

i used the tach signal going to my injectors for my remote start. there should also be a tach signal at your ignition module.

i walked into 2 ridiculous deals on 2 monster tachs, one autometer black faced , and the other one is a new sunpro led and shift light 10,000 rpm tach with a staging led light and a regular yellow shift light , ... when im at the track holding the rpm at around 2 grand to launch its a pain in the ass , with the new sunpro the led will stay on , til u launch outta the 2thousand rpm range ...then when i shift around 5700 the regular shift light will go off ..... since the autometer monster tach i have now is massive in the back , the new sunpro is a "SLIM TACH" .... and i figured , i have 2 of them , why not throw one in.... and no , THE STOCK TACH ISNT ENOUGH
