painting/primer question
Sunday, June 12, 2005 12:17 PM
I did some searching on here and found that when I am painting my interior, I should wetsand the primer with 400, then 600.

My question is this:
What should I use to clean the primer after wetsanding? Do I just need to dry it and that's all, or should I use something to make sure I get all the sanding residue off?

Thanks

btw---I am using dupli-color primer, paint, and clear (worked well for me in the past). and I am not painting any vinyl, just plastic

i just wetsand with 400, no need really for 600 imo. as for after you wetsand it, i just wash it down with soap and water. im sure there some better cleaning techniques some of the other real painters can add to it though.
