Hey guys, I saw the other day of some ones interior and he said how he went about glassing the inside and painting it. but I cant find that thread now....can you guys tell me the best way to go about doing this? I plan on doing every thing that is plastic and replacing the fabric on the doors with glass too. I want it all painted. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mainly im looking for that thread that he had...it was a blue and gunmetal interior
if you want the plastic to have the fiberglass feel and look, fiberglassing will create more work and more problems for you. If you're not doing and custom work to the parts, you are just giving yourself alot more work.
Sand the plastic parts smooth..start off with 80 gritt sand paper, and work your way up to 300, then 500 wet sand and so forth...it will be smooth and just as clean looking as fiberglass.
look at jason's interior...he is a prime example.
