Here is a picture of a fiberglass dash that I've recently completed for a j-body member. In the picture it is still only 1/2 wetsanded but it came out perfect. The black areas were just black primer sprayed over the yellow primer which is simply used as a guide coat. Check it out !
The date on the picture is obviously wrong because my camera date isnt set right. Sorry !
If I had a cookie I would give you it. Hope it doesnt crack on you..
I did may of these dashes and never had a problem. The dash in my cavalier didn't crack in two years and it is daily driven.
thats cool but why glass it? you could have just sanded it. does it work better or something?
thats what i was wondering. looks like both will give you the same end result, but glassing will just take alot longer then sanding.
not to sure sanding the vinyl would be the best option though.
It may end up giving you more headaches.
whats up with the sag at the defroster?
wait for it... wait for it... NOW GO!! ---> '02 LS Sport <---

you have to remove the vinyl before you sand. dont sand the vinyl! why would someone do that?
