Hey guys...
I read the interior faq and saw that after you drop the gas tank to drill the holes to mount the seats where the bench was...
But I have Corbeau A4s up front that are getting wrapped in vinyl and so I need some racing seats for the rear.. and I would like to but a Zex bottle between them..
My questions are pretty much are 1) Can I get seats that will allow for the bottle to be between them or will the area be too narrow.?
2) Will rear seats need brakcets also.. or will they be able to be mounted right into the floor.. I am not worried about the mess it makes because this will be done during when im putting in the new carpet.
3) Im pretty sure this will be ok, but where the bench seat was covering.. I would like to put in 2 12" Type Rs firing into the cabin sealed off behind the seats.. in a fiberglass cover. The seats can be mounted far enough up to where the subs dont touch the rear buckets during full excursion.. correct?
Thanks alot for your responses.. and I have searched

Id like to see waht the brackets would look like also since i plan on doing this too.
rears would just be bolted in, you can't adjust them, well, i guess you could, but i think height would begin to be an issue
I drew up a diagram for the bodyshop to weld brackets for my seats. The front 2 will no longer have sliders and the seats will basically sit on the floor since Im 6'1" I have to go down there this Sat and position the seats where I want them and then they will weld in the brakcets.
As for the brackets, Im having them make a peg system for the insides of the fronts, so the seats kinda slide into the car sideways then the outer brakcts will just bolt to the floor.
For the back seat its the same kind of peg system except the pegs will be in the back of the seats so the rear seats slide back into place and then the front 2 brakets get bolted to the floor.
Hard to explain but Ill take pics when I get the car back.
Thanks alot.. that helps
flip.. I cant wait to see when you get the car back.. its in interesting design.. yet im 5'8" so I wont have to do anything like that.. but I will take a good look in the back and see what I can find as far as getting everything to fit right
