B&M shift plus: any creative ideas

The Velcro does not stick (I am not surprised) and I do not want to pin the switch between the seat and con. like I have seen done. Does anyone have a creative idea?

Use super glue to attach it under the dash tot he plastic. It worked perfectly for my friend.

I used a larger piece of velcro and mounted it under the dask in front of the console as far back as it would go.

I am still trying to figure away to make a box that would hold all current and future swithes, but in the end I will probably just use "Super Glue"! Thanks for the posts and the pic...

Correct Sir...

The Shift plus is a shift improver for auto's, something about making the transmission shift harder cutting back on the lag between gears. I do not know if it is effective but for 30 bucks how could I not. Regardless of how well it works I would just be happy with a creative way to display the switch... that way, effective or not, at least it would look good...

Blade0604... do you have any pictures of your finished fiberglass enclosure?

it's great, I used to think there was a problem with my tach where it was slugish because when the car would shift the RPM's would stay up for a little bit, you can feel the shift a lot more now and the tach responds like it should. no more slip in the shifting.

Mine is hidden underneath the steering column. There is a space in between the column and the lower dash panel it fits nicely there and is easily accesible and cant be seen.

Im going to take mine apart and see what kinda switch is actually in there...

You can probably just replace that whole assembly w/ a toggle switch... SPDT?

I have mine in the driver side vent I cut out one of the bars and the little direction thingy so I could slide it in. Its a hidden and clean install i think. I will get some pics of it soon and show you guys.

Thanx Charles

I just put some glue on the sticky side of the velcro, so I can still take it off when I want to. Works fine for me!
