Does anyone have any instructions on how to do this??? I'm about to paint my interior and this is the only part that eludes me. Thanks!

Just start out with a low grit sand paper like 80 then work your way
up to higher grits...200 grit, then 400, then you can end with 800.

Thanks Mahcmos, but I was also told that "between sanding make sure you use water...". How much water and exactly how?

I did my interior and I never wet sanded. I went from 60 grit, to 110, 220, 310. I primered, let that dry for an hour. Sanded the primer down with the 310. Painted. Let that dry for an hour or so then sanded if it needed it. Dropped clear coat on it, waited, clear coated, waited, clear coated. Bam, interior came out perfect and smooth.

you dont have to wet sand to do your interior. you can but its not needed. to wet sand you usually use a high grit sand paper. keep constant water on the area and slowly sand lightly and make sure you dont burn through the clear coat

I would do 120, 220, 320, all dry. Then I would do 400, 800 wet and paint.

i wetsanded the primer with 400 grit. turns out allot smoother then dry sanding. your just using the water to get rid of the debri really u dont have to soak the part just get the sandpaper wet (make sure its a wet type sandpaper) and sand, splash some water on the part to keep it wet, when u sand youlle be able to feel when uneed to throw some more water on there
