i was bored today. It was dreary and nasty and just wanted to post some stuff i have done over christmas break. bear with me as this is not even halfway completed, but these are some updated pics. I know, u may think its to dark and scary. But i dont like flashy.
Here is the new wheel.
Interior pieces re sprayed in Gunmetal.
Custom door panels.
And finally, an over all view,
Let me know what u think! Holla

Looks pretty good. I like the wheel a lot. But I think the tach should be placed somewere else. Keep up the hood work.
where should i put the tach?
Besides the tach sittin there I love it. I really like the gunmetal look on stock graphite interior. I plan on doin the same thing when I mold a 7' screen in my dash. Keep it up man it looks nice and clean. Oh yea love the whiteface and gauge overlay.
i'd put the tach on the side of the guages on the pillar............. but personally i would either buy a smaller one, or don't have one at all!
i like how the gunmetal looks though. very clean lookin', and it doesn't look like ur car has painted interior!

I would get a stock cluster that has the tach.
Hey guys, thanks for the input! Keep er comin!

"Silver 2001 Cavalier z24 5 speed 2 door sunroof and power everything "

A 7 FOOT SCREEN???? Are you insane?
Or did you mean a 7" (inch) screen?

I have an idea....
If you want to put a tach in the car, source a guage cluster with a tach in it.. thatway its discreet..
I dont know if the wiring harness will accept it, (the tache'd guage cluster) or what additional wiring you might have to do.. but its an idea.
ps.. for all you manual transmission people out there....allow me to clear the air a little.
....the reason theres a tach on an automatic, is because you can also "manually" shift gears..
I know, I know..... highly contervercial subject.. but allow me to explain...
the tach is bennificial so as you dont rev out the car... aswell as placing your shift points..
its like a manual/automatic transmission...without a clutch...
but not like a ratchet shifter... although similar..

okay tell me something, who shifts more a manual or an automatic???
who has more of a chance of over-reving?
who really NEEDS the tach and who wants it for show???
its an auto, no need for it,
R-mac -
if u want it get a cluster, i got one for my 5spd and its plug and play
im fabricating a bracket that will hang my tach from my rearview mirror right now
a new shifter would top it off :0
My Cav
I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
that looks pretty sweet. Good Job!
Sorry but that tach is way too small and hidden for my liking.
Hey Liquid Fire, how much for the cluster? Hit me up please
