not true that could be an open air subwoofer... they make different types you know. just because the magnet isnt inside the box doesnt mean the subwoofer is being used incorrectly.

^^^ Exactly as long as one side is firing into the box the subs will work just fine. I'll try getting some pics of my set up. I've been running my subs inverted for about 3 years now an dlove the way they sound

its most likely a free-air setup wich basically is a sub that needs a very large enclosure, wich is basically the trunk. so in effect the trunk of the car is the enclosure, their great for when you dont want to take up the trunk with a big bulky box.

Thanks for the Complements, here is the ugly back of it I havent had the chance to make it look nice, then again it isnt on the top of my to do list as nobody sees the inside of my Trunk lol

yes it uses the trunk as a box so to speak. With the trunk closed it POUNDS. but with the trunk open its no where near as loud. I didnt sacrifice sound for quality. It still moves your hair and clothes and still looks good at the same time. I dont think i sacrificed anything at all.
