anyone know how to get that "door" back in track? my came off track completely and i cant get it back in place.

open the roof all the way up (the point before it starts rolling back, reach in and there should be 2 little white spring loaded tabs in the front corners pull em back with your fingernail, pop into the grove and release. When you see it you'll understand its very easy.
Big Boi, since you are the sunroof "guru", how do you get the sliding part OUT? I want to remove mine to redo that CF piece I am working on.
Hope this is not jacking the thread - 04eco got his question answered and I am continuing in a new direction but same topic style...
slide each tab to release out all 4 corners and, remove it up and out through the sunroof, not the car.
do you have to take the sunroof out first?
because once I roll the sunroof all the way open you can't slide the slider forward anymore to get to it.
I did see those pins you were talking about, though
open the roof up (double tap the button) to the point that its as far up it will go but before it starts rolling back.

Followed your instructions and it popped right out. Now I can redesign my CF sunroof panel so it fits properly and be able to tell my customers how to easily install it without having to do it upside-down like I did!

04eco - did you get yours fixed OK?
last year it took me forever to get that piece out...I took apart the whole thing from the inside to get it out. then after wards i figured itout, take it out and put it in from the outside of the car
great info though, not many people know how to take that out.
