Tilt steering

I searched and didn't find anything.

I want to get rid of my non-tilt steering and swap in tilt steering. What would I need from the junk yard and how difficult is the install? Does anybody have any pics of a tilt steering install?

I have all the parts in my basement right now. As I add the tilt I am adding cruise and delay wipers as well so I wanted the whole column and the stalks, if you do not want those extra features, then you need only the column. If you want the extra stuff you are going to need harness pieces as well, and the yard may not let you hack and wack to get that.

Drop me a PM if you need more

dleay wipers are easy, take off the plastic cover, remove the wheel a few bolts done

Tilt requires you remove the whole steering column, and re-set the coil spring for the horn/airbag (and steering wheel controls for the SFGT's)

you need to swap the ignition cylinder and passlock module over to the new column, make sure you have a key for the tilt column, otherwise you'll never be able to get the lock cylinder out, i even tried drilling....

its a basic bolt in, i've done the 98 to 2000+ dash swap, so this is peanuts in comparason
