How many f@#$'n screws do you really need to hold the dash top down. I anticipate going in and out of there a few times in the next wek as I work on changing the cluster lights and HVAC lights and amp wiring, and don't want to have to keep taking them all out.

there aren't that many. there's a really nice writeup on removing the dash somewhere around here. just search for it and you'll be all set

I only got two holding mine in. One right above the glove box and the one in the driver's fuse box. Works fine for me.

there are two on each side of the dash, between the door and dash, take off the panels, there are two in the glove box, and two inside the glove box...

Done it before for head unit installation, but just curious about rattling using only two or three screws t hld it down while I'm in between jobs. I don't want to be driving a ratletrap. glove box is annoying enough!

mine's not even bolted in right now, its just kinda snapped in place. it only rattles when my car is sitting at a light, it doesn't rattle at all while i'm driving

and yes, i know thats not safe
