just bought tenzo type-r evo's from gravana and got there slider and brackets combo. they all bolted together awsome only took about 10-15 minutes per pseat and look great, however even on the lowest setting on the sliders they still sit really high in the car. and by hight i mean i'm only 5'6" and to sit where i did with corbeau's my head hits the headliner. (i can take picts later to show you what i mean) but i was just wondering if anyone else ran into this? i have the brackets and sliders installed correctly, drivers on drivers and passengers on passengers so it's not an install issue.
this is not a flame on gravana, i just wanted to see if i was the only one before i contact jim. i do not think i should have to cut and re-weld the brackets if they are suppose to be made for the car right?
thanks in advance - donnie
i have the brackets that gravana sells for my tenzo rally seats. mine sit about the same height as stock. the thing that bugs me is that the seats don't slide back nearly as far as stock seats do. i contacted jim about this and he said that i would have to cut and reweld the brackets if i wanted to move the seat back farther.
well i'm glad i spent the extra money...i knew i should have just made my own, now i have to modify these.
i have to e-mail jim about this...
thanks guys - donnie
Yea, the brackets don't let u slide back nearly as far, and with lambos it is INCREDIBLY hard to get in and out. Had to put the stockers back in for now.
its just not the brackets that you got from jim
all the brackets out there are that way
also my head hits the head liner in my g/f's 02 with the sunroof , and in my sedan ive got 3-4" of head room
and both cars have the stock seats
