Best way to protect carpet?
Tuesday, March 07, 2006 8:57 AM
Well, I'm in the process of redoing my interior. I plan on ordering black factory replacement carpet (prob from A+) and I was just wondering what would be the best way to protect this new carpet since this is my DD? Thanks in advance.

^^^i just received mine last week also. it looks very nice but i wont be installing for a month or so. gotta get my 120 sq ft of fatmat in

as for protection, just get matching mats and try to keep as much off the actual carpet as possible.

Yea, can't wait for it to get nice out so I can tear everything out and put my fatmat in, then put the carpet in.

My gilrs 2002 ls sport has this plasic over the stock mats and it sticks ever so lightly to the fabric without leaving any traces on the material. I plan on getting a roll from the dealer when i replace my carpet and mats

i saw just cut a black sheet to go from the door kickpieces under your seat on both sids then throw your mats on top.
