Hey I just fiberglassed my Radio Bezel and a Switch panel on my center console... now I am going to Paint my Bezel the same colour as my car (Daytona Blue)... now should i paint my switch panel the same to accent it or should i paint it to match the center console...
Thanks for your input!!!

If it's done right, it won't look tacky. Since you're already going to do the bezel to match the exterior, doing the top of the console will flow with the bezel. That's my 2 cents anyways.

You can just sand it since you are not adding anything to it.

cool, so i guess ill just fill the little holes , sand, prim and paint! thanks for ur help!
You can't sand vinyl!!
the only options are either dying it or taking it off and glassing/sanding it before painting it.

I was not sayin that he should sand the vinyl. He asked if he should take the vinyl off and glass it or sand it.... Actually now that I look at it I see that he actually said "on the console do i ripp off the vinyl then glass it or do i just sand it??" I misread it, but anyways... rip the vynal off and sand it. No need to glass it.

now I ran into a little problem..... I sanded my console down with 80grit, 120, then 220, after that I sprayed it with adhesion promoter, i did 3 coats then I primmed... after that I sanded with 400 grit and in certain spots it peeled..... is that common????

Did you clean the area before you primed it? I usually wash it down with soap and water, and when it does clean it with rubbing alcohol. Here is how I painted my interior and it came out great.
