Part numbers:
Trunk lid carpet: 22657896
Retainers: 21030249

I don't think you can buy them from a dealer, only ebay and streetline when they are in stock.

I have this carpet. I don't know anything about whether the GM part number for the clips works but, I found that Nissan clips at my local Advance Auto Parts held it perfectly. Who would have thought that Advance would have something useful.

I agree! Too bad it won't fit on a Sunfire Coupe trunk lid . If only I had a Sunfire Sedan...

I don't mean to post-jack, but out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried putting one on a Sunfire Coupe trunk lid to see if there was any possible way to make it fit? I doubt it would fit, but I'm just wondering out loud.

That's a good idea. Unfortunately I have no fiberglass experience whatsoever . Maybe someone on here will come up with a way to make them for Sunfire Coupes and then sell them .

it's be hard glassing it - either upsidedown or if you really wanted to try squeezing in through your rear seats. i know you could always just take the darn thing off but that's too risky for someone of my knowledge

It's only four bolts and disconnecting some wires.

And lining it back up just takes matching the washers on the bolts to where its outlined on the paint, since GM painted it after it was all put together.

Someone really needs to make a trunk lid liner for Sunfire Coupes and then do a GP for them or something. I have no fiberglassing experience whatsoever, otherwise I'd give it a go. I'm sure a lot of Sunfire Coupe owners would be interested in them though. I know I would be jumping up and down if I could get one for my car. It'd be nice to be able to cover up all the wires and holes on the underside of the trunk lid. Just my .02 though.
