I followed the directions on the huge post on how to change color of your gauges... I did it, and now when I go to start the car I get nothing.... as if the battery is dead!??!?!

okay... haha... i feel like a complete idiot now... well not that much... but when I said I got nothing... I meant NOTHING>...... no clicks, no anything... and I just put in a new battery...

so after sitting down and praying for a few minutes... haha... i decided I would bolt down the only two little screws that hold the gauge cluster in place by two PLASTIC tabs...

Turns out to be those two screws or something help ground the cluster... don't know how since it is on plastic tabs... but whatever... my car starts now... hopefully it will start tomorrow morning... haha... phew...

I think u just got lucky because even if the cluster wasn't working, you would still have noises and lights if the battery was still good. But whatever, hopefully it starts tomorrow.

I don't know... the only reason I thought to bolt the cluster down, was because, right when I was about to give up and go inside, I closed my door, and luckily saw my clock flicker on and then off... So I figured that meant when I closed the door, it jiggled something enough to make a full circuit somewhere on the car... I open and closed my door a few times to make sure this is what was happening, and as soon as I bolted the cluster down, everythign works again, and car started fine this morning...
