How much are they off by, if you know your tank is full and it says ur at 1/3 tank just turn the car off and move it to F. Same with the rest. Only thing I can think of

I found it pretty easy to put the cluster in the car without the clear plastic, then turn the car on. Put the needles on very lightly, so that you can easily remove them again. Once the car is warmed up, put the temperature needle on where it usually points when your car is hot. If you remember where the gas gauge was before you removed the needles, put it back on there. Otherwise, fill it up then put the needle on so it points to full. Put the tach gauge on pointing to the right spot at idle, and put the speedo needle on so that it's at zero.

I did this with more than one gauge cluster with no inaccuracy problems at all. You just have to take care to push them on gently, and pay attention to where guages were reading before. I painted the needles on my old cluster and I liked the look.

same thing happened to me before. I did what Quiklilcav said. I also drove around some streets and had buddy drive in his car telling me his speed, so I knew i was going at the right speed myself.
