Is there a way to get in the car from the trunk if the backseat is up in a 2door Fire? I locked the keys in the car but I popped the trunk before I got out. Any help would be great. Thanks
only thing u can do is kick it in from what ive heard.....then jsut replace teh latch....i always roll my windows down before i do anything
First thing, get a flat head screwdriver and get comfortable in your trunk. Then use a fairly long screwdriver or something strong and pry the seat open and look at the latch and use the flathead to push the part that latches up and open it. Sorry if confusing but kind of hard to explain...I can draw a quick picture up if needed.
Thanks guys!!! I used the screwdriver and got it wedged open abit. Then I gave it a good push and it opened.

now go and make a spare key and keep it in the house somewhere so you don't have to climb in through the trunk again.

i know in my 03 fire their is 2 latches inside the trunk to pop down the back seats...ftw! Not sure what other years have this
