where does this go? how does it connect to the center console? i know how it works on my 01 but not on my 96. pics would be appreciated, and yes i did search but none of them where for a 96 all were 2000+. thanks

should be able to just get a manual trim peice with the manual boot from a junk yard and walah!
in 95-99 its a top half section of the console. 00+ is a plastic trim ring with the boot attached to it.(cavs)
It just goes in the hole....or am I misunderstanding the entire question.
