Rear seat brackets
Tuesday, November 21, 2006 8:48 PM
I removed my rear seat today to do some wiring and grounding work for the first time. I went to put the bottom seat back on and I cant get it back on. I found some black plastic braket things near the metal brackets. I know they must fit on the seat and the metal bracket somehow. Anyone know how they go together to secure the seat to the metal base? any pics would be sweet.

pull the little black plastic clips out of the slot in the floor. the clip the "C" shaped part on to the bottom of the seat. put the seat back in and push down near the clip. you will hear it click back in.

you need to "pry" them out with a screw driver, there pretty flexable, if they dont come out, turn them and try again it will take a few tries

yea im sorry it took so long stupid cam went missin for sometime then turned up under my car seat lol. best thing i did to get the clips out of the floor mount is just pinch it and it should come out or if it fell into the mount just turn it upside down and pull it out like that its easier. and once u look at the clip and the metal things under the seat its easy to tell witch "claw" thinger goes withc way.
