Door Pin Switch question

How the hell do you remove/get to the damned thing? I want to wire my under dash neon to that switch so that it only comes on when the doors open but I can't see how to get to the back of it. Any ideas? Oh and it's an 03 Cavy, 2 door if that info is needed.

Up under the dash there are 2 rubber panels, one on each side that have the wiring to the door pins. They are on the same level on the interior as the door pins are, so that should give some idea... also they are close to the door frame. The passenger side, you have to take out the sill panel and the plastic panel immediately under the glove-box (like you are going to change the blower motor).

yeah pull your door sills, then pull the carpet back and lift up the rubber sound damping and you can find the wires from the back side. on a side note you will need to run two grounds. one ground to each door that way your neon comes on when either door is opened.

yeah just if you only attached it to the ground on the drivers side door if you opened the passenger side door your neon wouldn't come on. so you have to attach a ground to each one. you only need one power going to th battery or wherever u want to tie it into.
