figured id get more replies with that title, lol..............

my question is....the interior of the sunfire and cav trunks, are they the same? same shape? same dimensions?

this question has been going around in my GP for a while, and we still havent had anyone confirm it. any help is appreciated.

well if u can find someone with a cav GM service manual we can compare dimensions. (assuming that the service manual gives dimensions)

This is just a guess....... but I noticed the rear end of the cavs and sunfires are the same, including the trunk lip... so I would guess the inside is the same on the rear of the car, considering the entire rear of both cars are the same on the outside...... just a guess.

i know ive pulled trunk carpet out of a cav and it fit just as good as my original so if it is off at all its very little.

im pretty sure the floor layout and design are the same, but from what i understand the inside where the tails and trunk lid are different (for obvious reasons)

the floors are the same

all cavaliers are the same as the sunfire sedan. the sunfire coupe is just slightly different, but the trunk floor is identical in all J-bodys. the slight difference is at the rear of the trunk, where the lid closes.
