I'm about to pour some more money into the 02Cav again and this time around I'd like to do a push-button start. I'm planning on purchasing a push-button/toggle switch panel from Ebay for the set up, so all I need is some information on doing this mod. I'm really pretty clueless as to how it even works. So, if anyone has a link to a guide/tutorial or has done this before, your help would be much appreciated. Thanks ahead.

i did it in my car. didn't buy a real setup. just bought the button and then bought a switch. you have to bypass the theftlock system (there's a wire diagram floating around here someplace. just search for it) so the car thinks there's a key in it. the push button is wired to the crank position (should be a yellow wire) and a constant 12+V (should be a red wire) then the switch goes on the acc. position and that gets connected to a constant 12+V (should be another red wire) on one side and then 3 wires on the other side (brown and 2 other colors i can't remember) if you have a test light and some common sense you should be able to figure that part out on your own or you can go to a gm dealership and have them print out a wire diagram for you. i took my test light out and then just got the diagram to double check myself. i've got a couple witnesses to it working as well. dave2uniq and i satchmoe you and jonathon roach are the 3 people on here who have seen it.
