Okay, i've got a 99 Z24 the gauge cluster had the tachometer and digital odometer. Well, i ran into a problem with my theftlock crap and tossed my stock cluster in the garbage thinking that maybe that was the culprit, but no, it turned out to be my crank sensor. So, i bought a cluster with a tach and mechanical odometer for an automatic, put it in my car, and everything works fine....except the fuel gauge. Now, i know everything with my car as far as electrical and all that good stuff works because i had no problem with my stock fuel gauge. So, what i'm asking is if anyone could lead me in the right direction as to whether it's my gauge cluster or that it's not exactly the type for my car (which is hard to come by). So, if i were to buy another gauge cluster (the same type i have, but with out the auto stuff on it) would it work? Or is the wiring diagram different?
Also, if you have or could get a gauge cluster pre 00 with the digital odometer and tach, please let me know, and i'll definately by it from you.
Thanks in advance!
NEW SIG COMING SOON FOR 07'!!!
sorry i cant help but i don't think its your cluster i did the same exact swap and my fuel gauge stopped working also let me know if u come up with any solutions lol
Well, damn i sure am glad someone else has had the same thing happen to them, well, my friend, it looks like the only thing you really can do is buy the one specifically for your car i suppose.....which are expensive! I haven't found one for my car thats under 100$, but i guarantee the next one i find i am definately getting it!
