ok so i have a short shifter and driving with it is raising hell with the shift boot. wut is everyone else doing wiht theres? i cant be the only one with this problem. one clip already broke off. and i dont generally even drive agressive. this is on an 01 cav. thanks
buy a new one so it stays clipped in and then when its in tuck the boot down in to the hole so the boot creates a moat like effect around the shifter n wala thats what i did whith my b&m short
i dont have a problem w/ my boot at all but yea do like mentioned and just tuck it down
My boot is starting to fall apart on my '04, and I didn't even modify my shifter...Oh well, cheap cars, cheap parts I suppose.
