if i do this am i going to lose any structural integrity? If so will adding a rear sway bar off set it?
I have a new audio install coming and i need lots of room. doing this will make it much easier.

Yeah man, if you're planning on taking out all the metal in the rear deck area, you're definitely going to lose structural integrity. I personally wouldn't suggest it for safety reasons, BUT if this is more of a show car than a daily driver, you could get away with it by adding at least a sway bar. I'd recommend doing more than just a sway bar though, it would be wise to incorporate room in your design for welding in square framing to go across. I can't speak from experience, but I'd just be afraid that if you go over some rail road tracks that the rear of the car would want to fold in on itself. Anywho, the metal is there for a reason, just be wise about hacking it all out.

Don't y'all mean a strut tower brace rather than sway bar?
