Hello Everybody!
I've seen the SRT4 and GTO seat swaps and they have got me wanting something different. I plan on hitting up the local junkyard to see what I find.
I was just wondering what thinks I should make sure to look for. I know the fronts can't be too wide or too tall, what's the widest seat that would fit? The slider setup shouldn't matter because I'll most likely have to make mounts anyways. What sort of things should I look for in the rear other than the obvious of the folding rear seat?
Thanks in Advance.
You may want to take some measurements prior to going. Measure your Width, because thats going to be your main factor.
As far as mounting go, the fronts should be rather easy. There is a thread somewhere about how to make your own brackets for racing seats. The steps will work the same for normal seats.
The rear you'll need to measure too. After that, its all just custom fab work.
I am currently doing a rear bucket seat swap. And I am only working with basic hand tools, and trying to make it as simple as possible so average Joe (like me) can do it by looking at the pictures. So you could also go that route.
