Installing Volt Gauge

Wondering about installing a volt gauge in my 2000 Z

Wires to hook up to and such?

Good install suggestions would help

should be three wires. one goes to a ground, one goes to a key hot, and the other goes to your cluster light fuse. volt is the easiest gauge to ever hook up.

yea very simple to hook up. black should be ground, red should be the 12v switched power and the white should be for light. they might not be the colors on your though. my volt gauge and 2 light blue wires and 1 was light and one was power. easy way to figure out whats what is pop your hood, place the black (ground) on the negitave terminal and place the other wire on the postive. if the gauge gets a reading then thats correct. its very simple to install.

jw how u tap into the cluster fuse thats the step im stuck on right now.. i ran the power wire off of the radio.. and ground it to the body.. now i wanan hok up the light so it lights when my clusters on..

splice it into your head light wires

or u could probably hook up into your deck illumination wire... not sure tho... if someone could confirm or contridict that plz do....?

The light will be the easiest for me cause i run a switch to my cluster after running Blue LEDs to it
