Installed my new gauge pilar today but when i started the car i turn my headlights on and my dash lights never came on. idk what to do i checked fuses and that wasnt it. does anyone know if i did something wrong with the gauge hook up? im pretty sure everything is hooked up correctly cause all the gauges work great. Its just the cluster lights that dont turn on. any info?

Did you make sure the dimmer switch is not turned off? Always check the basics first. Other than that go over the stuff you wired. Did you interface at all with the cluster lights? I mean are your new gauges lit? Is that wired to your cluster lights? Check your electrical connections make sure none of the wires are loose. Solder is always better than crimp connectors.

You could just try disconnecting your new gauges one at a time and seeing if it restores function to the cluster. Go over all your electrical connections...Try to restore it to original condition piece by piece hopefully that will help you isolate your fault

One thing to check is the dimmer switch, again. Activating the dome light is only one part of the dimmer switch. It is still possible you inadvertently disconnected something on the switch. Check the electrical connections at the back of the switch.

if all else fails I just got a new cluster on eBay for 30 bucks....You could do the same.

And yeah I figured you meant cluster
