only 4 nuts hold them on, not sure if anyone has weighed them yet, might as well be the one and post the weight up.

In my 03 sunfire seats were, with brackets: ~33 passenger seat and ~ 38 for the drivers seat, I have it written down somewhere, I'll see if I can find the exact numbers. Most aftermarket seats will not save you enough in weight to be worth the price if all you want is weight reduction. If its looks you are after thats a different story. The only seats that may be worth it are the cobra club style seats which come in at around 16 pounds each, even then with heavy ass steel sliding brackets, the weight will still be close to the stock seats, only a few pounds lighter.

Right now I am making some fixed back seats out of old fiero seats, and custom aluminum, non sliding brackets, just something to hold the seat in place they should come in right around 20 lbs each, for a savings of 30 lbs.

Well if that weight is just for the seats and not for seats with brackets, then watch out, somewhere, I have the weight for the seats minus the brackets and I believe it is less than 24 lbs so these seats may actually end up weighing more in the end. If weight reduction is what you are going for make sure that weight is with brackets otherwise look elsewhere.
