anyone have a write up with pics on how to take apart the dash? I'm thinking of painting the piece around the stereo and gaues, but not sure how to go about getting it out of the car? if anyone has a write up with pics that would be great. Thanks.
I'll assume the dash has stayed the same through all the years.
-Pull the plastic pieces off of the side of the dash, the parts that are covered when the doors are closed.
-There is one bolt on each
-There are 3 or 4 black bolts inside the glove box, at the front/top area
-There are 2 gold bolts further inside the glove box inside another hole.
-There is a phillips head (X) screw holding the vent on top of the dash on.
-Pry the vent up and there is another (or possibly 2) bolts under it.
The top pad can then be taken off
-There are 3 bolts holding the bezel on at the top (the bezel in front of the gauges/hvac/radio)
-After the bolts are out it basically snaps off
