power window switch

i need a new power window switch. my question is do i need a 95-99 one or can i use 00+ ?

i need to know asap, thanks in advance

95 switches are different but 96 and up are all the same. i have a 2002 switch in my 98

hmmm, ok thats what i needed to know. i have a 99 but i think i can get a switch from a 00+ for free. so i wanted to make sure they are the same thing...

can anyone else chime in on this?

i got a new window motor from ebay years ago for like 15$, and then had the chevy dealership put it in for around 50$. it was well worth it.....especially since the motors are held in by rivets and you must drill out and install new rivets.

some things are worth paying for....

im talking about the power window switch. not a window motor.

even so, if you can get one for free, why would i pay for it?
